The brake zone is clean and it's in near-mint condition,
but even if it's from the final production run, it's a 2009 model.
Apparently it had been sitting in the corner of the shop all this time.
Since they took it out and threw it on the bike to ride over to our shop, it's barely been ridden.
Both wheels, especially the rear wheel, had significant centering issues.
The reason they brought it in wasn't actually about that though—
they said "the spoke tension on the rear wheel is clearly too loose."
Yeah, it was definitely pretty loose.
Clearly below the lower limit of factory spec.
Whether this was caused by approximately five years of sitting still affecting the spoke tension,
or if it's just a manufacturing variance, I can't say for sure,
but I tightened it up by retensioning the spokes.
