A customer brought in a Racing 1 2WAY-FIT for service.
The wheel had some runout and the hub was off-center as well.
On top of that, there seemed to be something wrong with the freewheel body rotation, so
when I opened it up, I found that the spring that lifts the pawls was slightly bent,
so I replaced that too.
Instead of a continuous "Ziiiiiiiiiii" sound,
it was making more of a "Zii-kochik-Zii-kochik" kind of noise,
and one of the three pawls wasn't engaging quite right.
It wasn't necessarily at the point where replacement was urgent,
but since the part isn't expensive and there's always uncertainty about not replacing it,
I went ahead and replaced it.
↑The valve rattle guard was missing, so I replaced that.
We've been seeing a lot of these go missing lately, so
I've made it a "part we always keep in stock" at the shop.
The one with four pawls is for 2WAY-FIT aluminum rims,
and the one with two pawls is for carbon rims like Bullet and Red Wind.
These two aren't interchangeable—you can't substitute one for the other on incompatible rims.
