I built a single speed with the wheels I assembled the other day.

With fewer components and no derailleur adjustment needed,
assembly doesn't take that long.

The chainline came out without any issues.
I hadn't checked the crankset beforehand, so it was a matter of trial-fitting on the spot—
it could have not worked, so I was relieved.

Since the hub is Suntur, I went with a Suntur quick release as well.

The brake levers are customer-supplied parts, but
the XC Pro brake levers

require a special diameter outer cable stop.

The brake outer cable stop on the top tube is rusted from sweat.

↑ I went with full outer housing.
The outer band is Campagnolo.
The top tube is 25.4mm, so it fit perfectly.
