Ksyrium SLR

A customer brought in an R-SYS SLR for me to work on.

There was definitely center misalignment happening.
The front wheel only had a slight amount, but the rear wheel was significantly off.

What is this?
This definitely doesn't meet Mavic's shipping standards.
Apparently this wheel was swapped out for some reason (I think I heard about it but forgot)
so this is the customer's second one,
and they've been having it trued at a nearby shop.
This center misalignment is the exact amount you get when someone only focuses on lateral trueing,
so it was probably thrown off during that adjustment.

↑There's grease that looks like cheap general-purpose grease between the spoke head and the truing ring,
so it was definitely worked on before.
You can do center alignment by just tightening up the freewheel side,
but the tension was clearly loose, so I removed the truing ring
and while I was centering it anyway, I tensioned both sides.
As for why it was loose, I can't tell if it was adjusted in the loosening direction
or if it was like that from the start.
The customer mentioned that compared to the first rear wheel they used before,
this one doesn't feel like the same wheel at all—it didn't roll well—
but after tensioning it properly, the second rear wheel
should be equivalent or maybe even slightly better.
