A customer brought in a Ksyrium SLR for service.

I forgot to take a full shot of the rear wheel.
As for the front wheel, despite the rim being in near-new condition,
the hub rotation was incredibly rough and grinding.
The hub axle was installed backwards relative to the front hub sticker and Exalith rim orientation
(the six bearing adjustment holes are on the right side).
When I removed the hub axle, both sides had ceramic bearings from Tni instead of OEM bearings,
but both were rotating sluggishly, with one side grinding particularly badly.
I suspect the bearing inner race was struck during the press-fit installation,
damaging it with impact loading.
Apparently a local shop did this work, and since both front and rear hubs had similar issues,
I replaced the front hub with two 6901 non-contact steel ball bearings.
The rear hub's left 6901 is fine, but the right 608 is grinding,
though we didn't have that in stock so I left it for now.
The front wheel had virtually no runout and proper center alignment, but


the rear wheel was seriously off-center.
Apparently that shop did a truing job after replacing the bearings,
but it looks like they only did a basic runout correction.
I noticed one spoke with a slight twist near the nipple,
and marks on the right axle locknut that looked like they'd been damaged by a monkey wrench
instead of a proper 17mm hub wrench.
