Another day of wheel building (and so on...).

I built the rear wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel #5.

Evolite hub 24H CX-RAY semi-comp four-cross lacing with tie/glue,
half blue and half red aluminum nipples.
A customer from Tokyo stopped by while on a business trip(though the bike work might be the main reason),
and I built this wheel while chatting with them.
Aside from the tie/glue work, it took just over 30 minutes.
This customer brought in the rear wheel from Nomu Lab Wheel #1
which they'd used for 4 years with no maintenance,
so I inspected it. There was a slight wobble in one spot—
the rim had shifted slightly toward the freewheel side.
I'll explain why the rim shifts during years of use in the next post.

I built one more.

Evolite hub 32H semi-comp four-cross lacing.
I'll do the tie/glue later.
This is the matching rear wheel to yesterday's 24H front wheel.

I pushed myself a bit more.

Evolite hub 24H semi-comp four-cross lacing with gold aluminum nipples.
I'll do the tie/glue later.
