Ah! In the box! In the box!

When you lay a 28-spoke rear wheel on its side and look at just one flank,
the hub appears to float in space,
suspended by the final crossing of seven pairs of spokes.
Every time I see this, I imagine the "Gleaming Trapezohedron."

I thought about putting this post in the "Cthulhu Mythos" category,
but since I had nothing else to write about, I decided against it.
