Another day of wheel (and so on...).
I built Nomu Lab Wheel #5.
Lately I've basically turned into a Nomu Lab Wheel #5 assembly machine,
and until I finish with these, I can't move on to any other wheels.
Front wheel: Evo Lite hub 20H, CX-RAY outpoke radial lace,
Rear wheel: Evo Lite hub 24H, semi-competition 4-cross lace with cross-laced spoke heads,
Gold aluminum nipples.
DT's gold aluminum nipples have color variations depending on the production lot,
and currently they're being delivered in the shade shown on the right in the image above.
Just a few days ago, my stock of both colors was down to about one wheel set each,
and even though it's practically impossible to happen, I was worried that
if I assembled the rear wheel with the right-side shade and then received new gold nipples
only to find they'd come in the left-side shade, it would be a disaster.
So I held off until I could guarantee a sufficient quantity in a single, matching shade.
Along with the gold nipples, I also restocked red nipples,
but the box arrived crushed with contents spilled out.
At this level it's still manageable—
I just need to pick them all up.
There was one time when #14 silver aluminum nipples and #15 silver aluminum nipples leaked simultaneously,
and doing a complete inspection using #14 spokes took an absurd amount of time.
Gritting my teeth, I built one more rear wheel.
