Wheels again today (and so on).

Continuing from the ENVE post the other day.
I think I've actually built two more wheels separately today
but let's not dwell on that.

It's done.

Evolite hub 24H, semi-comp 4-cross lacing.
I'll do the spoke tension equalization later.

The customer drew a yellow-necked radish character on the box the rims came in,
but since two wheels won't fit in it, I can't send it back to them. Sorry about that.
They also included some Oguraya Seika iron-grilled crackers (→here)
but I didn't have time to take a photo. Scary stuff.
About that yellow-necked radish character—
it seems to have some kind of relationship with the consideration character, but the details are unclear.
One thing's for sure: they've never appeared at the same time,
so maybe they're like Hayata and Ultraman, or Bruce Wayne and Batman.

Continuing from what I wrote about the front wheel.
Between the 18H rim and 24H rim this time, the 18H is the later version.
From EDGE through the early ENVE models, the claimed weight is 275g,
but for the later ENVE model it's 300g,
and the 18H rim has a sticker around the valve hole, so it's definitely the later ENVE version.
The serial numbers are also different—18H is 130×××× at 7 digits,
while 24H is 108××× at 6 digits.
It's not like 900,000 rims sold between the 6 and 7-digit numbers.
Somewhere along the way they started reinforcing it and clearly changed the thickness,
and it looks like they increased the serial number digit count at that boundary.
With this rim, the difference in claimed weight comes to 25g,
but the lighter one turned out to be a slightly heavier individual, so the actual difference wasn't that much.
I'm not planning to explain all those details one by one anyway.
↑Ugh what an unpleasant attitude
