I built the front wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel No. 2, but first.

The Black Hub we stocked at the shop as a backup for Evolight Hub shortages
has the following specs: the front hub is Novatech 291 = Tni Evo Hub,
and the rear hub is Novatech 482SL = Tni Evolight Hub equivalent.
The difference from the Tni hubs is that the hub shell has no logo and the end portions are black,
and since the hub shell having no logo is useful
when rebuilding wheels for Reynolds and ZIPP,
the rear hubs got used up quick
and sold out a while back. Since it's a spot import, there are no plans to restock.
We still have the front hubs in stock.
The Black Hub has one more special feature:
the spoke holes in the flanges are slot holes that can accommodate
flat aero spokes, so you can use Sapim CX and similar spokes.

I built the front wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel No. 2.

Black Hub 20H CX reverse two-cross radial lacing.

I was thinking of writing about spoke count,
but it's going to get long, so I'll cover that in another post.
