Continental's new model, the Grand Prix 5000, has arrived in stock.

Ordered way too much — help me out (not panicking though)

It blends in like camouflage — the Consideration (配慮) GT doesn't come included, just so you know.

The model name is Grand Prix 5000. Not the 5000S or 5000SII.
At the same time, the Grand Prix 4000SII has been discontinued — it's being replaced, not sold alongside the new model.
Compared to the 4000SII, it's noticeably lighter, and I'd expect the rolling resistance to be lighter too.
However, since the tread thickness is thinner, the 4000SII's signature feature — its absurdly exceptional durability when compared to other brands' top-tier WO tires — will be somewhat compromised. That's why I wish they were still selling both.
Tubeless versions of the Grand Prix 5000 are scheduled to launch next year.
The clincher (this shipment) has an MSRP of ¥8,200 (before tax),
while the tubeless version will be ¥9,800 (before tax).
Clincher sizes available: 700×23, 25, 28, 32C,
Tubeless sizes: 700×25, 28, 32C.
