A customer brought me a pair of Aksium front and rear wheels.

To be precise, these are wheels they brought in for component assembly work.
I don't want to have to deal with brake adjustments twice,
so I'm going to check the runout and centering first.


The front wheel is basically true.
It looks perfect in the photos, but there's some lateral runout,
so if I really looked, I could probably find a spot or two that's off by about the thickness of a sheet of paper.

Now for the rear wheel.


This one was out of true.
Unusually for Mavic, the rim was dished toward the freewheel side.


Fixed it.
