The spokes came in on schedule, so
I was able to build the matching front wheel to go with the rear wheel I assembled the other day.
18-hole CX-RAY straight radial lacing with a 3T brand hub.
For the non-drive side of the rear wheel, I used
a repair-grade CX-RAY straight spoke without threading, 270mm long (can be cut down to 240mm),
cutting it to whatever length I needed.
For the front wheel's CX-RAY straight spokes, I sourced ones in a similar length
and trimmed about 1mm off them for use.
(The distributor's stock comes in even 2mm increments,
but I needed an odd-numbered mm length).
I also ordered exactly 18 spokes instead of the standard 20.
As I mentioned a while back, CX-RAY spokes are now sold individually by the piece.
