I Disassembled the SLW2 Dial on Northwave Shoes

The drill is humming!

A customer left me with a pair of Northwave winter MTB shoes.
About the drill humming this time—
it's just the Bosch drill in the image
"Whoa, you've got a color scheme just like me!" humming away
I didn't actually drill any holes or anything.

The customer said that since buying them, the SLW2 dial wire
hasn't been hooked in at one spot,
but since this is a hook design rather than a threaded cable,
it's not a manufacturing defect—the hook just came loose.
Though I'll admit, with how deep the engagement is, it shouldn't come off easily.

Initially I listed this as a boa dial in the title and text,
but it turned out to be Northwave's proprietary SLW2 dial.
Thank you for the correction in the comments.

Separately from that, the dial action was pretty stiff,
so I disassembled it, pulled out all the wire, and carefully rewound it.

Done.
