A customer dropped off a Bora Ultra rear wheel with us.

In the image above, looking at the spoke at the very top—
apparently during a ride, a branch or something got caught and
bent the spoke.

It took the full impact on the first strike, and this was the only bent spoke.

I've mentioned this a few times before, but
to deform a flat spoke like this—
especially in the front-to-back direction—
is basically impossible with just hand strength (static load).
There must have been a momentary impact load of considerable force.
If a branch or something did get caught and bent the spoke like a lever,
there might be damage to the frame's seat stays as well.
Though I can't say for certain since we've only looked at the wheel.
