Today, another whee... (long story). But before that.
Previously, I was supposed to build the rear wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel #8 with silver spokes and red nipples,
but I ended up building it with black spokes and red nipples instead.
Since we actually got an order for that spec,
today, another whee... (long story).
I built the matching front wheel.
Revo disc hub, 24H, black half CX sprint 64 reverse Italian lacing with red aluminum nipples. I'll do the truing later.
With this, our stock of 24H AL22W disc rims is completely gone.
So I can't build any more Nomu Lab Wheel #8s until the distributor restocks.
I follow a policy of not treating the distributor's inventory as my warehouse,
so I stock rims, hubs, and spokes generously ahead of time.
Actually, the distributor's AL22W rim stock ran out several months ago.
Not just rims—the distributor has no stock of the hubs and spokes that we use regularly either.
Black CX-RAY, black CX sprint, Revo disc hubs—right now the distributor has none of these, but I do.
My inventory is finite though, so I'm getting a bit anxious...
By the way, I have just one more rim left, so I could've built one more pair if it wasn't for the KCS situation.
Even though the rim replacement was my own decision,
since the cause wasn't from our shop or the customer, it's frustrating.
