I replaced the mini router we use at the shop.

It's another Proxxon MM100 (→here),
but this one only lasted a little over a year.
That said, I definitely pushed it past its rated usage time recently
and put it through some pretty intense work with sparks flying,
so I can't really complain.
When the motor starts to fail, the rotation speed drops dramatically
and the cutting ability of the bits goes downhill fast.
Right before I replaced it, the unit was giving off
a burnt smell the moment I flipped the switch on.

It comes with the thicker chuck for the larger shaft diameter bits
(the thinner one is already installed on the unit),
plus a wrench-style replacement tool,
but I've already got plenty of those.

I have five of the thinner chucks,
and the sixth one comes with the newly purchased unit,
so that means I've bought the MM100 at least six times or more.
