More wheels today (and so on).
Things have been incredibly busy lately, but
I've finally settled down enough to work on Nomu Lab wheels during business hours.
I'd like to push through and build all the reserved orders at once.
The backlog that was around 230 wheels has gotten down to about 140.
It's slower than I'd anticipated, but we're definitely making progress.
Built Nomu Lab wheel #1.
Spokes are all competition-grade, and the front wheel is Nupoke radial.
Built Nomu Lab wheel #5.
Front wheel uses CX-RAY spokes and the rear wheel is semi-competition grade.
This front wheel is anti-Nupoke radial.
I realize lately that my blog content just keeps coming down to "more wheels (and so on)" reports, and I apologize.
I'm also pretty far behind on replying to comments, and
I haven't written about topics I keep saying "I'll write about soon":
・How much does lightening bearings actually matter?
・In praise of Turbo saddles
・About wheel left-right balance
・Continental tubular tires
and so on.
Some people have suggested "Why don't you hire someone?"
But since I can't hand off either the wheel building or this silly blog writing to anyone else, I have to decline.
