Back to wheels today (and so on).

Continuing from yesterday.
I built a rear wheel using an ETRTO 451 rim with 50mm tall profile.

Mystery hub (Campagnolo freebody) 32H
All black, 14-gauge Champion radial lacing
Black aluminum nipples, no crossing
I tried making it dual-gauge by switching the non-freewheel side to 15-gauge
but decided against it.
It's a 451 WO rim, but because the rim height is tall,
if you look at the structural distance from the hub to the inside edge of the rim holes,
it works out to be about the same spoke length
as a 406 HE rim of the same 20-inch denomination.
I hesitated on whether to weave in the final crossing of the tangential lacing,
but ended up doing it this time.
If the hub were something with a much larger flange, like an internal hub for a derailleur bike,
I wouldn't have woven it in.
