Just the other day, I spent
10 consecutive business days rebuilding Roval wheels,
and along with a letter saying
"The CLX50 you rebuilt is running great now!"

a wheel I'd just built came back in the mail.

Apparently they had a crash and a spoke snapped.
Well, that's the way it goes sometimes...

Since it's on the tangent-laced side,
I need to replace the spoke, true the wheel, and retie the spoke.

All fixed.

Of the two spokes in the next final crossing, one was bent
and the other wasn't,
but since I had to replace both together anyway, I replaced them and retied the spoke.

↑Replaced spokes
The cut at the spoke head is for retrieval purposes.

↑Final crossing on the snapped spoke side

↑Final crossing next to that
Only one is bent, but I replaced them as a pair.
The rear wheel was also included, so I trued it,
but it was barely out of true at all.
