Another day, another wheel (and so on).

A while back I built a front wheel with a Velocity 20-inch WO rim and
a 28H Evelite hub,
but I'd been stuck on what hub to use for the matching rear wheel.

↑That's an Evelite rear hub shell in 28H,
I pressed the bearing hub axle out toward the left side
from an unused unit, and then

reconstructed the hub using all brand new
parts for everything else!

So I built the rear wheel with that hub.

Evelite hub, 28H, all black, 14-gauge Champion spokes,
four-cross lacing with no radial component on the rear. The front wheel
was built with black Leader spokes in 15-gauge,
but the rear uses black Champion in 14-gauge,
and I'm not doing four-six lacing—there are reasons for all of it,
but I'm not writing them down.
Like the front wheel, both sides of the final crossing are woven.
