Another day working with wheels (and so on).

A customer entrusted me with the front wheel of their Nomu Lab Wheel No. 5.

Tni Revo II hub, 20H, CX Sprint 4-spoke build.
I went with the Revo II hub because its flange geometry is better suited for tangential lacing
compared to the 660 hub. That said, it's not like you can't do tangential lacing with a 660 hub—
it just works better with the Revo II.

The basics use silver nipples, with blue aluminum nipples only on either side of the valve hole.
The customer asked me to rebuild this wheel, converting it from an AL22 rim
to an AL22W wide rim.

Rim transfer in progress...
The rim at the top of the image is the wide rim (you can see the difference).

Done building.

Everything on the inside of the rim, including the nipple colors,
is the same as the original.

The customer has no plans to use tubeless tires,
but tubeless-ready rims don't work well with stretch-band style rim tape
(except for rim-specific products like Bontrager's),
so even if you're not going tubeless,
you need to use tubeless tape.
Stans tape makes clean holes with a soldering iron,
but when it's designed with tubeless valves in mind, the valve hole is tight—
so I made it a bit larger since we're using it as a tubed setup.
