Rebuilt the front wheel with ALEXRIMS DM18 rim

Today's another wheel build (and so on).

↑This is unrelated to today's wheel rebuild—
it's a CAAD1 MTB, but

IMG_0059amx16.jpg
it's equipped with a CODA saddle.
CODA is Cannondale's parts brand,
named after the musical notation symbol.
They kept producing their proprietary cranks,
and that approach might have led
to the development of BB30.

Anyway,
back to today's wheel work.

A customer brought in a wheel
built with ALEXRIMS DM18 rims.

The hub is a CODA rim brake 32H,

RIMG2910amx16.jpg
laced in a black Campagnolo cross lacing pattern (Italian)
with brass nipples.
The customer has no complaints about the wheel's performance itself,
but they wanted it rebuilt because
they wanted silver spokes.

I'm not sure about this wheel's history,
but since the rim is 650B size and not 26" HE,
there's about a 20-year age difference between the hub and rim.

Built.

Following the lacing pattern traces on the hub flange,
I changed it from black Campagnolo cross lacing
to silver Campagnolo cross lacing.
The nipples would normally be silver aluminum, but

when I asked what other options were available,
and showed them one of our rainbow-colored nipple wheels,
they said "I want that one!"
So I went with VAS rainbow-colored nipples instead.
