When making the left and right lever heights on drop bars the same,
there are methods using elaborate jigs and such,
but stringing a line will give you quite reliable parallel alignment between left and right.

I use this line called "Chidanu" (Japanese fishing line).
The #4 refers to the thickness grade, with a nominal diameter of 0.33mm.
