A customer brought in an Elite Drive (Japanese bicycle brand) rear wheel for repair.

They had ridden off with a cable lock still attached,
and ended up breaking some spokes.

↑It happened to be right next to the valve hole,
so I've secured it with tape.

Total destruction

All fixed up.

This wheel came with one spare spoke for each direction—front and rear, left and right—
four spokes total, and the customer brought those along,
so I was able to complete the repair right there on the spot.
All four spokes were different lengths,
but the longer ones for the sloped-angle front-right and rear-left were nearly identical,
and the shorter ones for the steeper-angle front-left and rear-right were also nearly the same,
so if we're okay with a temporary fix,
thanks to the thread length redundancy on the spoke nipples,
we could repair up to two spokes on one side of either the front or rear wheel
using the included spare spokes.
