Continuing from yesterday.
I built the rear wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel #8.
Revo disc hub, 24H, black half CX sprint
Built with 4/6 JIS lacing
Blue aluminum nipples.
I'll do the spoke seating later.
About these blue aluminum nipples—
of all DT's aluminum nipples right now,
these have the most color variation.
It's not that one box is uniformly darker or lighter than another;
within a single box there's mixing of darker and lighter nipples,
so the color consistency is pretty unstable.
There's also a turquoise color separate from blue,
and the light blue and dark turquoise
look almost identical to each other.
So for this batch of blue, I checked with the customer
and selected the darker shade to use.
