Built Nomu Lab Wheel #1

Another wheel day (et cetera).

I built Nomu Lab Wheel #1.
The hub is a replacement hub we sourced at the shop as an alternative to the TNi Evolution.
I'll write a separate post about that later.

A slimmer front hub than the Evo hub.

Something I haven't mentioned before:
inpoke radial isn't just the reverse spoke threading pattern from outpoke radial—depending on the hub, there can be an extra step involved in building the wheel (takes about 3 minutes in that case).
Some hubs need this extra step, others don't.
This one was definitely the type that needs it.
Structurally, it seemed like it should require it, but you can't know for sure until you actually build it, so I went ahead and built it inpoke first.
Dura-Ace is a classic example of a hub that doesn't need this step.
That's determined by the hub's structure, not quality.

Half-comp four-cross lacing. I'll tie it in eventually, but haven't yet.
