Rebuilt the front wheel with a CXP22 rim

It's wheel work again today (and so on).

A customer dropped off a front wheel with me.

The rim is a Mavic CXP22, but it has a FELT brand hub,
so I'd guess this is a wheel that comes on entry to mid-level complete bikes.

This time, the customer wanted to swap out that hub for an Evolight hub.

It's branded FELT, but the hub is actually a budget model made by Joytech.
Joytech is one of the pioneers of Taiwanese bicycle parts makers,
one of the oldest of the old guard.
Novatech, you know, is Joytech's premium brand.

According to the catalog, the CXP22 comes with eyelets,

but there are also special-order versions for complete bike manufacturers without eyelets.

Built it up.

Before and after the rebuild, both have black spokes and red nipples,
but I replaced all of them with new parts. The spokes are DT Comp.
I built it up with reverse-pull radial spoking.

While I was at it, I also cleaned up the brake zone on the rim nicely.
