I received a G3 hub from a customer.
Yeah, that's an ominous-looking image, but don't worry about it.


Of course, the usual routine.

There are some marks from previous assembly on the flange holes, but the internal condition of the hub was in good shape.

Still, I cleaned it up just to be safe.

Built it up.

28-hole semi-comp, 48-spoke lacing with drive-side truing. The larger flange diameter on the non-drive side really helps with asymmetrical truing. Hehe.
