I received a Racing 1 from a customer for service.

Before putting the front wheel on the truing stand,
I felt something off that made me open the hub first.
The centering was slightly off,
but once I was aware of it, the truing took care of it completely—
no major issue.

The bearings—one side was completely shot from rust.
The ball races were also pitted a bit, so using them further
would only make things worse, never better.
So I replaced the bearings on that side.

The rear wheel had only a slight wobble,
but the centering was spot-on, no hub play, no looseness in the right cone nut—
so the work finished quickly.
The customer had apparently done some hub maintenance on the rear wheel,
and since it spins smoothly without any roughness and has decent lightness, I left it alone.
