Tni AL300 Rim, In Stock!

The Tni AL300 rim has arrived!

It's a fairly light rim with a 30mm rim height.
I know who the OEM manufacturer is, but I can't write about it here.

When I source rims like this, I'm usually disappointed by
the low precision of the rim. But looking at the seam, it seems pretty good...

↑Can you see how the seam line is subtly visible running vertically in the brake zone area?
The precision is really quite good.
I sourced these to build our original wheels,
and this is looking like a winner.

↑These aren't the same image. They're different units.
The catalog spec is 460g, but
they're not exaggerating the weight. Looks great.
The average weight of a Mavic Open Pro black 32H 2011 model
(based on my measurements) is 439g, so this is pretty light.

↑I went ahead and built a front wheel right away.
I didn't expect it to come in under 700g, so the result is excellent.
Front 20H, rear 24H,
with Tni hub, DT Competition 2.0-1.8-2.0 spokes,
and DT aluminum nipples.
The 24H rim for the rear hasn't arrived yet, so I can't give you the full details,
but I'm planning something special for the rear wheel.
Stay tuned for more updates.

We plan to sell them as front and rear pairs, but some of you might only want the front,
so let me note that the price is ¥12,000 (tax included).
We can of course take custom orders for spoke count and specifications.
Feel free to reach out with any questions.
