The specifications for Sapim's CX-RAY spokes have changed a bit recently.

Not the spokes themselves, but the packaging.

↑They're heat-sealing the top of the bag.
This means you have to tear or cut the bag to get the spokes out.
The popular lengths—the ones we figure have faster inventory turnover—are switching over to this spec.
I've confirmed that it's not the wholesale distributors doing the sealing.

With some lengths we still get the old spec bags,
and with those you can pull the spokes and nipples out from here.
The problem with the heat-sealed packaging is this:

My CX-RAY bag collection
is no longer possible.

So with the heat-sealed spec, I've started carefully slicing open the bottom of the bag to get the spokes out.

Not the spokes themselves, but the packaging.
