Tsuntsun-san, who used to work with me at the Sylvest Toyonaka shop back in the day,
sent us mandarins yesterday.
These are mandarins grown in the fields at Tsuntsun-san's family home in Kumamoto.
We used to receive them every year at this time when I was at Sylvest Cycle,
but I was really surprised that he would send them to our shop now.
I was planning to call him today to say thanks, but for some reason he showed up at the shop in person with his wife.
Apparently they took three days off and came to Osaka.
He had various things to do and people to meet, including the Maishima Marathon,
so he stopped by our shop too.

↑He had various merchandise of Kumamon (Kumamoto's famous local mascot character).
It seems Tsuntsun-san wore this hat while running the marathon.

↑This is his wife's pouch. Apparently it's incredibly popular in Kumamoto.
He said there was lots of Kumamon merchandise displayed at Shin-Osaka Station too.
