A customer dropped off a Bontrager carbon wheelset for me.


It's got tubular tires on it, but I was able to get the centering gauge on without peeling them off, which was a relief.
Both wheels had slight centering issues,
so I figured I could take care of that while doing the lateral truing on one side!
Gave it a shot, but the front wheel ended up drifting the opposite direction across the center line,
so now I'm working on it some more.



The hubs are DT Swiss, huh.
The rear wheel's non-drive side is a bit loose,
but since the drive side is tensioned nice and tight, that's about the limit.
It's actually a more extreme high-low flange design than it looks (the non-drive side is really small),
but in the end it comes down to the left-right difference from the radial lacing on the non-drive side.
