Another one from a customer... here we go again!
Based on how many of these wheels I'd estimate are actually being sold—which shouldn't be that many—I'm pretty sure most of the ones purchased in this area end up at my shop.
The front wheel was perfectly centered with almost no wobble, so that job wrapped up in no time.
And then the rear wheel—
They wanted me to swap out the Campagnolo freebody for a Shimano 11-speed version, and then center it up.
Normally swapping the freebody would throw off the centering quite a bit, but oddly enough, just replacing the freebody left it mostly centered (though it was still off a little).
Maybe the wheel was originally way off-center, and swapping the freebody happened to shift it in the right direction. Or possibly it was originally a Shimano 11-speed freebody setup, got switched to Campagnolo for some reason, and now we're just putting it back to Shimano 11-speed.
The dimensions on the right end nuts are completely different, so a freebody swap would normally shift things quite a bit. So I'm leaning toward the theory that it was originally a Shimano 11-speed freebody setup.
