A customer left a Bora One (high-end carbon wheelset) with me for service.


It's a tubular setup.
Both wheels had no centering issues and only the slightest runout,
but the rear wheel felt a bit loose, so they asked if I could tighten the spoke tension.
If there's obvious looseness, I'll check with the customer first
and propose tightening from my side, but in this case,
the tension isn't particularly low.
Following the customer's request, I tensioned the spokes while leaving room for future spoke truing adjustments.
I had the customer feel the spokes before increasing tension,
and after raising it, they confirmed the reduction in flex.
