Built the front wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel No. 5.
Evolite hub 20H CX-RAY outpoke radial laced.
Using the same logic as yesterday, the WH-9000-C24-CL front wheel is listed at 578g,
this wheel comes in at 546g, and with rim tape adding 21g, it totals 567g.
If it were hypothetically 16H instead, that would be 19g less in spokes and 1g less in nipples.
Skimping on this 20g would actually create bigger downsides in terms of lost rigidity.
Now, if four additional spokes created aerodynamic drawbacks you could actually feel,
and you considered that more important than rigidity—well, that's a different story altogether.
