Cosmic SLE Rear Wheel

A customer left a Cosmic Carbon rear wheel with us for service.

Apparently the rim rubs on the brake shoe when pedaling hard.
Since the brake zone is quite exaggerated,
there's a squeaking sound during the rubbing, which was the concern.

Setting that aside, I noticed the freewheel body rotation felt gritty,
so I opened it up even though the customer didn't specifically ask for it.

Rust residue was circulating inside, so I'm doing a cleaning and regreasing.
Unusually, there was some rust inside the bearing on the right side of the hub shell.
This time I'm handling it with regreasing rather than replacing the bearing.

The wheel centering was way off.
The rim is shifted toward the non-freewheel side,
so if this wheel were swapped with a properly centered rear wheel,
the gap between rim and brake shoe would be quite tight.
The spoke tension wasn't loose,
so that's probably not the cause.
