Another wheel day (and so on).

A customer brought in the front wheel of an EA90SLX.

One spoke is missing.
The customer took the wheel to a shop to have a broken spoke repaired,
and when they tried to use the wheel that came back,
they noticed that one spoke was broken in the middle.
I can't tell if this is the spoke that was replaced or not.
I suggested to the customer that just replacing this one spoke should be fine,
but they preferred to have the whole wheel rebuilt for peace of mind,
so that's what we're doing.

I disassembled it. We're not using any of the original spokes or nipples.

Built it up.

I used straight-type Sapim Race spokes
and went with red aluminum nipples.
Other than the nipple manufacturer changing from Sapim to DT,
it's built up the same as the original.
