Racing Zero Carbon

A customer dropped off their Racing Zero Carbon for service.

They wanted an inspection, but

the spokes are bent.
I noticed it before putting it on the truing stand, and
since we're replacing them anyway, they asked if we could make it stylish with red spokes,
so

I did it while I was at the inspection.

My basic rule for stylish spoke patterns is to place them next to the valve hole, on the rear side in the direction of rotation,
but if doing it stylishly, you'd normally do it on the non-freewheel side.
In this case, the deformed spoke was on the freewheel side (probably from rear derailleur damage), so I put the red spoke on the freewheel side instead.
Since the deformed spoke wasn't next to the valve hole, I used the black spoke next to the valve hole for repair and filled that spot with a red spoke.

Next, the front wheel.
It was mostly fine, but

to match the rear wheel, I put just one red spoke on it.

This wheel was shipped to us from far to the east, but
on the exact same day, another Racing Zero Carbon from far to the west of us arrived
with a request for stylish spokes.
I'll get to that one later, but I'm writing this now
so there's no misunderstanding like "Oh! This must be my wheel!"

"Oh! This is my wheel—black spokes with red nipples on the Nomu Lab wheel #5!"
→Nope, different job. This sort of thing happens pretty often.
