Built Nomu Lab Wheel #1 with a 7700 Hub

Another day, another wheel (and so on).

A customer brought in a 32-hole front wheel.
The rim sidewall has a rounded dent, and the wear indicator dots are nearly worn away,
so they wanted the rim replaced.
They're fine with an XR300 rim.

Number 14 plain black spokes with a hub marking I don't recognize myself.
Built in the 6/6 Italian pattern.

The spoke length reaches about to the slot in the nipple,
so they're not excessively short.

The rim is probably an Araya AR-713.

Completed.

HB-7700, 32H, CX-RAY, 6/6 Italian pattern.
When I disassembled the wheel, the hub alone felt stiff in rotation,
but I figured once spoke tension was applied it would loosen up nicely,
and indeed it did.
I haven't adjusted the bearing play.

I didn't go with radial lacing partly because this hub prohibits it,
but also because with 28H and above, radial lacing makes it harder to clean the hub body.

A personal note to this wheel's customer—
the "other wheel" is also finished.
