A customer dropped off a Zonda rear wheel for repair.

They mentioned one spoke was bent, but
setting that aside, the hub bearing cone adjustment seemed off somehow...
It was abnormally heavy, with a grinding sensation.

The retainer bearing on the freewheel side was installed backwards.
Something was clearly wrong, but finding the cause was a tricky puzzle.
Since the customer had apparently attempted an overhaul themselves,
I won't be harsh about it, but they rode it a bit with it like this.

Based on its position, it wasn't a derailleur wrap-around or anything like that.

For a moment I suspected seizing, but
it turned out to just be threadlocker compound applied generously in the spline.

Fixed.
