When the Wind Blows, the Bucket Maker Profits

Lately I've been doing a lot of PowerTap (power meter hub) assembly and reassembly work.
I think some of the new builds are probably due to rush demand from the price increase scheduled for May 1st.

One of our regular customers said
"I'll probably never buy it if I don't get it now. I've wanted one for a while,"
the criminal motivestating their reason for the purchase.

Since it's new, there's no need to wash it,
but I'm swapping out the Shimano freebody for a Campagnolo freebody, so I'll show you while I'm at it.
This is what the grease on the pawls of a new freebody looks like.
You can see that yesterday's hub wasn't very dirty.

It's built.
We had a customer drop off a hub the other day,
and today they came in with a wheel bag to take it home with,
so I built the wheel on the spot and handed it over along with the bag.
Ah, that should make things a little easier tomorrow.
Oh wait, tomorrow is the customary "closed day that ends up being open anyway" — the last Saturday of the month.
Since we have a promise with a customer, I'll open it anyway.
