Built the front wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel #1.
Evolite hub 20H CX-RAY outpoke radial laced—
with deep red aluminum nipples.
These are deep red aluminum nipples, but here's the thing—
DT used to have a period where their red aluminum nipples came in a deeper shade,
and I thought they'd completely switched over to that darker version.
But then the lighter shade came back into favor,
and now the current production is all (comparatively) light red.
Whenever someone specifically requested the deeper shade, I'd source those,
but apart from what I need for this front and rear wheel set,
I'm down to just a small reserve for repairs—so that's the end of an era for me.
