Today it's wheels again (and so on).
I built a PowerTap wheel today.
A customer came from another prefecture,
and since they'd asked me to build wheels for them before,
they stopped by while they were in Osaka.

Well, I mean it's a PowerTap on the front wheel (laugh).
The customer was planning to leave it with me saying "I'll come back in two weeks if I can,"
but I said "Give me 40 minutes" and did an impromptu build instead.

I actually finished it in 25 minutes.
Everything lined up perfectly for a quick build.
・Front wheel (centering is easy)
・Aero spokes (nipple adjustment resists spoke rotation)
・20 spokes (more spokes definitely takes longer,
but with 16H it becomes harder to true radially and takes time too.
In that sense, 20H and 24H are the easiest spoke counts to work with)
・Good rim precision (the preliminary assembly stage is noticeably different)
But, anyone who reads this article,
when you ask us for an impromptu build,
please don't give me grief like
"Hey, you can build a front wheel in 25 minutes, can't you?" (laugh)

This hub has a simple design but seems really smooth and durable.
A bit of a giveaway, but the customer is from Shikoku.

I got some Tokushima udon.
Thank you so much for thinking of me.

Wow, so much I thought,

but the box is deep and holds more than I imagined.
I'll be enjoying udon days for a while.
Thank you so much.
