Another wheel day (and so on...).
Built the front wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel No. 5.
Evolite hub 20H, black CX-RAY, outpoke radial lacing with red aluminum nipples. The matching rear wheel was built a little while ago.
The customer who ordered this wheel had tubular wheels on their current bike, and the tires on both front and rear were in rough shape—the tread was splitting and cracking. When they came by wanting a tire change the other day, I told them "Hold off on that, squeeze a bit more life out of them, I'll have No. 5 built soon." Well, today the rear tire flatted and the front tread was looking sketchy, so they showed up with a spare on the rear. I built the front wheel on the spot and they made the move to WO tires at pretty much the perfect (?) moment.
Man, that was cutting it close.
