Tomorrow, June 20th (Thursday), I have some unavoidable business to attend to, so
I'll be taking the day off.
I apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.
I've been asked several times to write about watches as well.
I have some material, but I don't have time to write it.
Taking photos is a hassle
I found some photos I'd already taken.
I bought a yellow Seiko clock, so today I'll tell you about that.

Though to be clear, what I bought wasn't a watch but a clock.
I keep it in the shop.
It's a miniature version of the kind you see at marathon finish lines
or at athletics stadiums.
According to my watch mentor, "This is actually sold commercially,"
so it's possible that these were originally non-sale items distributed to event staff
and later made available for retail sale.
When I displayed it in the shop, several customers nearly walked off with it,
so I said if anyone really wanted one, I could arrange to special order it.

And I've actually ordered some in.
The model number is "SQ815Y". It should be around 3,000 yen before tax.

The overseas version has the model number "QHL062Y,"
and parallel imports of that are available, but they're ridiculously overpriced, so be careful.
Aside from whether the instructional sticker on the unit is in Japanese or English,
they appear to be the same product.
There might be someone who wants the real full-size version!
So I looked up the model numbers for you.
The timer unit is "ST-306," and the dedicated stand is "ST-020."
Please do consider it. Just to be clear, we don't stock these at our shop.
