A customer dropped off the rear wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel #5.
It's laced with a Hope Pro RS4 hub
24H, half-comp 4-cross lacing with cross-pattern ties
It has silver spokes and silver nipples, but
the customer asked me to swap the nipples to a blue color that matches the hub better.
Swapping out the nipples now...
Done.
This job is technically the same work as wheel building, but
by my own personal rule—
since there's never a moment where the rim and hub are completely separated—
it doesn't meet the condition for today's wheee... (you know).
Just like I don't call replacing a single spoke "wheel building,"
I don't call replacing 24 nipples "wheel building" either.
Chronologically, this work should have come
after the wheel below, but I did it first.
So today was also wheee... (you know).
