Built a Rear Wheel with Assault T Rim and Disc Brake (Part 1)

This has nothing to do with the article content, but

for some reason today my inventory of 11-speed chain connector pins increased at a crazy pace.

Anyway, back to wheels today (and so on).

I built a rear wheel with disc brake using Reynolds Assault T rim.

It's a DT350 disc hub, 24 hole, black half-comp JIS lacing.
I'll do the tension adjustment later.

This hub is a through-axle hub with 142mm width and 12mm axle diameter, but
the measured over-locknut dimension was exactly 143mm
when the end cap was fully pressed in.

Actually, even quick-release type rear hubs with a nominal 130mm width
often measure around 130.5mm when I check them,
and frame makers often have tolerance specs of 130–132mm
(anything even 0.1mm under is NG),
so being slightly wider might not be a problem after all.
