Usagi Express

The other day, a customer (sort of) came in saying
「I've got a car club race coming up soon and I haven't raced in ages,
but I don't have a number plate mount, so get one for me ASAP, dammit!」
So I quickly sourced a Tni rear brake shaft co-bolted type mount,
and requested our shop's exclusive night/early morning bicycle courier service
Usagi Express (→here) to deliver it... and they delivered it.

Don't nitpick the fine details like how the seal got stamped before it was even closed.
Like the linked article before, this was headed to the Higashinada area near Kobe,
and I can't go into too much detail,
but the delivery destination was pretty close to TriSports, which carries Tni products.
In fact, the courier passed by the shop's front twice—once going and once returning.
Well, according to Usagi Express, they did anyway.

Though it's unavoidable from a procedural standpoint,
the way the product basically boomeranged back,
or traced a piston-like trajectory, is pretty hilarious.
There's a bigger-scale example of something similar,
where the start and end points are even closer:
I once ordered an annual awards trophy for morning practice sessions
from a Tokyo company online,
and it turned out the trophy manufacturer and shipper
was a company less than a minute's walk from our shop.
So a trophy that was made practically right in front of us
took a trip to Tokyo and back again.
